Away Retreats - Terms and conditions

All retreat participants must sign and complete all electronic forms requested by AWAY retreats at least one week prior to the retreat start date. This includes another liability waiver & release, current health information, media release and any other necessary forms. 

If a participant does not complete these documents, they will be unable to attend the retreat and are not entitled to a refund.

1. Retreat Participation

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in a group retreat experience that may include physical activity, travel, and communal settings. I am responsible for assessing my personal health, fitness, and readiness to participate.

2. Payments, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Deposits are refundable for 7 days. 

If cancellation occurs more than 120 days prior to the retreat start date, you will receive a 50% refund, less the deposit. 

Cancel 90-119 days prior to retreat start date and receive a 25% refund, less the deposit.

Cancel 60-89 days prior to retreat start date and receive a 10% refund, less the deposit.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations that occur 59 or fewer days before the retreat start date. 

However, we CAN apply any amount paid toward a future AWAY retreat! 

We require that you purchase travel insurance.

3. Travel & Insurance

I am solely responsible for arranging my travel to and from the retreat location. I am required to have travel insurance that includes coverage for cancellation, health emergencies, and personal belongings.

4. Medical & Health Waiver

I agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions and understand that AWAY Retreats is not liable for any illness, injury, or emergency that may occur. I acknowledge that I may be required to complete a Health Questionnaire.

5. Liability Waiver

AWAY Retreats, its team, and partners are not liable for any injury, loss, accident, or delay that occurs during my retreat experience. By registering, I assume all risk and responsibility.

6. Code of Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a supportive, respectful, and inclusive retreat environment. We reserve the right to remove participants whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or negatively impacts the group experience, without refund. Participants will cover the costs of additional transportation, meals, accommodation and staff expenses required for them to exit the retreat safely.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials shared during the retreat are the intellectual property of AWAY Retreats. They may not be copied or redistributed for resale.

8. Acknowledgement

By completing my  booking, I confirm that I have read and agree to all terms outlined above.
