Overview
Lindeza. In Portuguese, it means beauty or loveliness, a word that reflects the spirit of our time in Loulé, where we slow down and savor the quiet charm of southern Portugal. Move with intention through reformer Pilates sessions, wander cobblestone streets, explore local cafés and markets, and take in this historic Algarve town. We’ll also venture beyond Loulé to experience the landscapes that shape life in this region, from visiting a traditional olive grove in the surrounding countryside to taking in the dramatic cliffs along the Atlantic coast.
A Curated Boutique Stay
Portugese Country Estate
This is not simply where we’ll stay. It’s part of the experience itself.
Set in the quiet countryside just outside of Loulé, our home for the week invites us into a different pace. Surrounded by olive trees and rolling hills, this beautifully designed estate feels peaceful, spacious, and deeply grounding from the moment we arrive.
Mornings begin gently. Open the doors to fresh air and ease into the day with Pilates reformer classes overlooking the countryside, and linger over coffee before gathering for chef-prepared brunches around the table.
Spend time by the heated saltwater pool, enjoy a restorative massage, read in the shade, or simply enjoy the rare feeling of having nowhere you need to be.
As evening arrives, the sun sets across the horizon and we gather for beautiful dinners and easy, spacious conversation. It’s the kind of place that gently reminds us how good it feels to slow down.
The Experience
Reformer Classes
Mornings in Loulé begin with movement. We’ll gather for reformer Pilates classes at the house, starting the day feeling grounded, strong, and connected before easing into chef-prepared brunches and slow Portuguese afternoons. With just 8 reformers for 16 participants, we’ll split into two smaller groups, creating a more personal experience and space to move with thoughtful instruction in a peaceful setting.
Chef-Prepared Meals
We gather around the table for delicious chef-prepared meals. Thoughtfully made with fresh, local ingredients (lots of fresh seafood available here!), our meals are designed to reflect the flavors of the region and will primarily be omnivore in style. We also thoughtfully accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences so everyone feels nourished and included. Shared around the table, these meals become a meaningful part of our time together.
Olive Grove & Olive Oil Tasting
We wind down a long, tree-lined drive before arriving at a beautiful olive grove in the countryside. Together, we’ll walk the grove, learn about the olive oil-making process, and even see a Roman-era olive press once used to create extra virgin olive oil. Of course, we’ll end with an olive oil tasting, sampling oils straight from the grove and savoring the flavors of the region.
Loulé
What makes Loulé (loh-LAY) special is that it still feels like a lived-in Portuguese town. Just 20 minutes from the coast, it offers a different side of the Algarve, one shaped by local cafés, artisan workshops, and cobblestone streets. It is the kind of town where daily life unfolds in the plazas, locals stop for coffee, and small details, from tiled buildings to tucked-away courtyards, make exploring feel rewarding. We have two afternoons set aside to wander here, browse local shops, enjoy a coffee or pastry, and take in the rhythm of town life.
Fascia/Massage Ball Stretch
We’ll slow things down for a restorative fascia and massage ball stretch session designed to release tension, improve mobility, and help the body unwind. Using massage balls to gently target areas of tightness, this class offers space to reconnect with your body, move more freely, and feel restored.
Moving Meditation
Our meditation sessions take a movement-based approach, blending gentle movement, breath, and guided reflection. Rather than sitting still for long periods, we explore practices that help us feel more present, grounded, and connected to ourselves.
Heated Pool
There is something especially enjoyable about a heated pool in April. While the Algarve often brings sunny days, mornings and evenings can still feel cool, making a warm swim all the more inviting. Set against beautiful countryside views, the pool offers a place to relax, take in the landscape, and enjoy!
Space to Be
Between adventures, meals, and movement sessions, this becomes a place to simply be. Curl up with a book, enjoy a quiet conversation, journal, or settle into a comfortable corner with coffee. This shared space invites connection when you want it and quiet when you need it.
Balance
Our carefully curated itineary leaves space for adventure, connection, relaxation and exploring.
Digital Detox
This is your chance to step back from the noise. Here, away from pressure and the constant buzz of everyday life, there is space to reconnect: with yourself, with others, and with the environment around you. There is no right way to unplug. You choose what feels supportive based on where you are and what you need right now.
